So. Apple has some new hardware out. I want one. 64-bit IBM PowerPC 970 goodness. They call it G5 though. Anyway, these things should really scream. And run circles around those primitive x86 things. I think the QuickSilver G4 casing is a little more attractive, but these seem to grow on you. I like the new case a lot better now than I did when I first saw it.

Their new software is looking good too. I can't wait for Mac OS X 10.3. Expose sounds like a real timesaver (as opposed to moving windows out of the way and minimizing them, trying to find the window you're looking for). And even though windows did have fast user switching first, I think Apple did a much better job at it. From what I've seen during Steve's demo, it's also a lot faster than Windows XP's fast user switching.
